Books from the “Edge of Two Worlds“
Murannah House is committed to publishing ‘books from the edge of two worlds´. The people at Murannah are curious and always on the search – the search for new metaphysical revelations, transformative shifts and life-enhancing tools to live a life full of depth, meaning and joy. This is what we are committed to deliver to our readers – you will find books that are “out of the box“, books that will stay in your mind, your heart and very possibly also in your life, be they fiction, non-fiction, how-to-books or poetry.
Murannah Academy and Publishing House is based in Berlin, Germany, a few hundred meters away from where The Wall between East and West-Germany had been – where The Wall had cut through lives, destinies and dreams of millions of people.
When The Wall came down in 1989, a wave of hope and excitement rushed through the population. Yes, we learned within a few seconds, that major shifts are possible. Millions of people were suddenly free to move wherever they were drawn to. The frontier had disappeared, bricks and fences were torn down, and watch towers deserted.
We all had accepted The Wall as an indestructable fact. For decades, we shrugged our shoulders saying, there is nothing really, we can do.
And then – a new moment in time – a turn of the great wheel of destiny – and everything was upside down. What a joy!
This is what we are striving to accomplish with our books: shifts in our lives and the lives of our readers, so that there are new visions and vistas, new objectives, new faith. It is not only about East and West – it is about the inside and the outside, the light and the dark, power, love and vulnerability.
Where once The Wall had been, there is now for most parts a green belt, with groups of tourists wandering around, gasping at the giant wallpaper photos from times long gone, showing men and women jumping out of the windows, running for freedom. Now, there are children playing football and sprinklers showering precious water on the green grass on a hot summer´s day.
The Wall - it had been the most dreaded part of Berlin, the part where people lost their families, their dreams and worst of all, their life. Now, The Wall area is radiant with joy and peace. May it stay like this – a symbol of how amazing transformations can take place in “no time“.
Hammering down walls or gently blowing away the veils – we at Murannah House are committed to publish powerful and inspiring books.
